Description
A very fine and elegant Canaanite bronze sword dating to the Late Bronze Age, ca. 1500-1200 B.C. The weapon features a long, tapering blade with a sharply pointed tip and a narrow integral grip, creating a refined and balanced silhouette typical of ancient Near Eastern bronze weaponry.
This piece belongs to the period traditionally associated with the age of Moses and Joshua, a formative era in the history of the southern Levant. Its graceful proportions, surviving patina, and strong overall preservation give the sword a commanding archaeological presence.
