Luristan bronze is a term referring to a set of early bronze artifacts that were recovered from western Iran. These objects included tools, ornaments, ceremonial objects, and weapons such as the dagger seen here. Luristan bronze objects were made by ancient Persians in the Early Iron Age, and they date from as far back as 1200 B.C.E..
